On 5, 6, and 7th march Duo Sax & Stix will record their debute CD. The project called "New Amsterdam" will be recorded in the small hall @ Muziekgebouw Frits Phillips in Eindhoven. In season 2012/2013 it will be published. 

On 4th of may 2011 Sax & Stix played a concert for National Remembrence Day, with special guests Royal Highness Queen Beatrix, Willem-Alexander and Maxima in the audience. The concert was in "Nieuwe kerk Amsterdam". Together with Double bass player Wilmar de Visser and the National Children's Choir they did the premiere of "Bloemen in de stilte" by Willem van Merwijk. The event was live broadcasted on dutch national television channel "Nederland 2".
